Art & Design

Actors at Work Productions’ critically acclaimed, award-winning feature film follows the lives of Arathorn and Gilraen, the parents of Aragorn, from their first meeting through a turbulent time in their people’s history.

Making movies is expensive.

We could not have made this film without the generous donations from around the world. If you liked the film, why not donate money to the filmmakers.  Donations help to keep the website running, to replace the budget dept and to make future films.

Art & Design is a crucial aspect of this historical fantasy because the props and costumes all need to be produced especially for Born of Hope.

Talented concept artists, designers and craftsmen from around the world including Australia, Canada, USA, Netherlands, Germany, Poland and the UK are working on this production.

Creature Effects

The work below is actually being made for another fan film called The Hunt for Gollum which some of the BoH team are helping with. The three masks created by Luke McNally will also be used in Born of Hope.
